Mobility has always been an urge of mankind searching for paths to cross landscapes to travel and explore. Resulting from this explorational urge topography is being engraved by passages in reference to the topographical appearance of landscapes respectively in correlation to how much resistance nature with its geological composition puts against the will of mankind to force its path across the landscape. Despite today’s constructive possibilities topography influences and even defines the applicable method of construction, the plan of how a passage can be carved into the landscape. Once a path is engraved into topography, it also influences the perception and notation of landscape whilst the course of the path provides a given set of angles to review the topographical landscape and further influences the documentation of landscapes. Itineris reverses the angle of perception whilst observing the passages with a naive unpretentious sight, documenting not only the constructional efforts made to engrave a path into topography but also the correlation between the topographical nature and the urge of mankind to travel and explore. Therefore evoking individual connotations of the pursuit of moving on, of passing through.
